Peter Whitehead

Master Peter Whitehead is a 7th Degree Black Belt with over fifty years of dedication to the art of Taekwon-Do. His journey began in 1974 under the guidance of Grand Master Roy Oldham, later continuing his development with Grand Master Vic Leighton — two mentors who shaped the foundation of his lifelong practice.

Over the decades, Master Whitehead has trained alongside some of the most respected names in Taekwon-Do, attending seminars with Grand Masters Ki Ha Rhee, Ray O’Neill, Cariati, Kwang Sung Hwang, and Roy Oldham. He also travelled to Japan to train personally with Master Hwang Suil, a highlight of his continued pursuit of excellence.

His greatest passion lies in teaching — passing on the knowledge and values of Taekwon-Do to the next generation. His dedication has produced students who have competed and achieved success at both national and international level, a legacy he is immensely proud of.

A lifelong student. A dedicated instructor. A true servant of Taekwon-Do.
